Houston’s ‘deep freeze’
Despite the rolling blackouts and the fact that there was no water and only sporadic electricity at my house this morning, there is one upside to the cold weather: I have a rare opportunity to wear some beloved cold-weather clothes. Yesterday it was my navy blue Tennessean fleece (“Your 21st Century newspaper sewn” over the breast) and today it’s a Vanderbilt bookstore sweatshirt.
